I was worried the 16g would feel too heavy for everyday wear, but the orb actually sits so snugly that I forget it's there. The 8mm internal diameter fits my septum perfectly and the whole piece has a nice, solid weight to it.
The bead sits perfectly centered and gives it a weightier feel than my old plain hoop, which I actually like. I sized up to the 10mm internal diameter and it fits my septum snug without pinching.
I’ve worn it daily for two weeks and the 16g hoop hasn’t irritated my piercing at all, plus the internal diameter is true to size. That single orb gives it a bit of weight that feels solid without being heavy.
