Went with the 10mm internal diameter and the 16g thickness, and it sits perfectly snug without pinching. The hoop feels sturdy yet lightweight enough that I forget it's there half the day. Exactly the subtle, clean look I was after.

I was torn between the 8mm and 10mm internal diameter, but the 10mm has a nice presence without feeling bulky. The 16g gauge feels sturdy yet comfortable for everyday wear, and the symbolism behind it made it a meaningful gift to myself.

The 12mm internal diameter fits my septum perfectly without looking too bulky, and the 16g thickness feels sturdy enough for daily wear. I've been wearing it nonstop since it arrived and it hasn't irritated my piercing at all.
